A tribute to heritage craftsmanship and conscious design, this coffee table takes inspiration from the final few sampan boat makers of the Riau Islands. The silhouette, with its cross-braced legs and tray-style top, is rooted in nautical tradition—reimagined here in a refined, contemporary form.
Crafted using salvaged wood from old doors and beams, each piece retains the natural grain and patina of seasoned timber. Available in natural oil or water-based finishes, the surface is lightly sanded and sealed to reveal the material’s authentic character.
